About Our Law Office

Our office offers legal assistance, guidance and advice exclusively in the area of immigration and nationality law. We represent clients in the Kansas City area as well as from across the nation and around the world. We pride ourselves in offering individualized attention to each client and in taking the time to get to know our clients and their needs. We understand the importance to our employers in hiring qualified professionals and the intricacies of complying with various and often conflicting employment and immigration regulations. We also appreciate the importance of uniting families and providing educational and life-changing opportunities to children.

Roberta Farrell

Roberta Farrell received her law degree from the University of Kansas in 1981. She has been practicing immigration law since 1986. She is a member in good standing of the Missouri Bar and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Roberta has been featured as a guest speaker at a number of conferences and seminars throughout the metropolitan area and has provided personalized presentations to local businesses.

Howard Eisberg (Of Counsel)

Howard Eisberg has been a lawyer in private practice for nearly 40 years, specializing in immigration law for more than 30 years. He has served as Adjunct Professor of Law, on immigration law, at both University of Missouri-Kansas City and Washburn University; has been a past mentor to immigration lawyers nationwide on visas for Outstanding Professor/Researcher and National Interest cases; and has been a frequent writer and speaker on the subject.

Our Staff: Legal Assistants

Rachel Harris obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and taught elementary education for six years prior to becoming a Legal Assistant for Roberta. She has worked with Roberta for over 14 years, assisting in employment–based visa applications.

Kate Barr obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts. She has worked with Roberta for over 13 years and assists with employment-based immigration applications. Kate also assists clients with account-related concerns and handles administrative and managerial matters.
